Western Pacific Trust Company is a unique independent trust company which has been a trusted financial services provider to corporations and individuals since 1999.Consolidation in this industry has led to the existence of fewer and larger financial institutions in today’s market place. That concentration has created a niche market for Western Pacific Trust Company, which caters specifically to the private capital markets, and offers clients competitive, responsive and knowledgeable service on a consistent basis.

Alison Alfer | President & CEO
Alison has extensive experience spanning more than 25 years in a range of businesses within the financial services industry, including insurance, a mutual fund dealership and real estate investment, as well as in the oil and gas industry. Associated with a public company group comprised of corporations listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and the Toronto Stock Exchange, as well as a number of private entities, Alison has served in senior officer and director roles for a number of public and private companies. She was instrumental in Western Pacific Trust becoming a trustee for eligible exempt market products, and since 2012 the company has focused on the private capital markets in addition to other trust company business. Alison served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Private Capital Markets Association of Canada (PCMA) for five years. She is a member of the Leadership Group of the BC Chapter of the PCMA.

Steven O. Youngman | Director, Trusts
As the Director, Trusts, Steve is responsible for approving the eligibility of private capital market securities to be held by Western Pacific Trust Company. He is well positioned to do this by virtue of his more than 30 years of experience in the tax field and in structuring businesses. Steve also provides assistance to our Plan Administration department, prospective issuers and their advisors, as to eligibility matters. He has Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of British Columbia.

Cathy Schaeffer | Manager, Plan Administration
Cathy brings more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry to her role in managing the plan administration department of Western Pacific Trust Company. Passionate about excellence in both service and process, Cathy exemplifies both in her in day to day dealings with issuers, dealer representatives and investors, she has introduced and developed business efficiencies to improve the experience of our clients, while maintaining the highest standards of industry compliance for the company and for her team.
